Whenever you assemble a "Top 10" list it's always opinionated and ephemeral. Opinionated in that the quality scale and ratings come from from an individual or group with a very subjective view of things. I have things that I consider important points when it comes to determining accuracy of replica watches that someone else might consider trivial for example.
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak has long been a favorite watch to counterfeit. I have seen examples dating back to 2001 for the Royal Oak Offshore. Back then the state of the art was poor stainless steel and quartz movements, easily spotted by even an amateur observer. As with most replica watches the situation improved over time.
Recently there has been an increased interest in counterfeiting a number of brands that have been immune up until this point. Graham is a perfect example of this trend. The Audemars Piguet End of Days is a limited edition version of the venerable Royal Oak Offshore, made to order for Arnold Schwartzeneger for the movie of the same name. Coated with PVD and bearing distinct yellow hands and a vinyl strap, the End of Days (or EOD) is quite celebrated and can be found selling for over $40,000 for good examples. Recently MBW (Marie's Best Watch), a high-end replica manufacturer, has begun producing examples of this watch.
Omega Planet Oceans have been subject to copies since it was released last year. Fake Omega watches are quite common, usually in poorer quality examples. This was the case with replica Planet Oceans until recently. The newest example (seen here) fixes a variety of flaws seen in earlier fakes. The gas release valve is properly labeled with "He" on this example, while earlier fakes have an incorrect Omega logo.
Other common flaws include incorrect stamped case backs and more common, missing
