Wow, I just got a chance to play around with flickr today and I'm seriously thinking about changing site format to a traditional Blog in order to integrate it. Wordpress (my current favorite) directly integrates photo sets from flickr with little hassle. I've yet to find a system to do that with Joomla (my current content management system).

Why is flickr so cool? I can attach comments to photographs in the gallery. I've set one up as an example from yesterday's Gallery entry: Franck Muller flickr gallery. If you hover over areas of certain photos you can see comments I've added to point out certain things. This is way cool for clarifying certain points when discussing replicas.

I'm debating on changing from Joomla to a traditional blog platform since I've reorganized how I update this site. There's just a lot of non-bloggy content that would have to live in that new format. Any comments would be appreciated.
