 The Bell & Ross BR01 line has been a big seller for the small Swiss brand. There have been a few replicas of these watches, but until recently they were too small compared to the genuine piece (39mm vs. 46mm). This new BR01-94 replica corrects that major error by releasing a replica Bell & Ross BR01 watch with the proper dimensions.
The larger size also corrects another major flaw, that being the watch band. On earlier replica Bell & Ross BR01 models the smaller watch size meant the replica watch manufacturers were forced to use a standard 20mm watch band instead of the larger custom strap design that B&R uses. This larger replica allows the use of a replica watch band of the exact design of the original
Even though the replica watch manufacturers have corrected this major flaw they have introduced another in this particular watch. The genuine watch is an automatic while this replica uses a quartz movement. That makes it quite easy to spot. Also the date window is incorrect, as are the fake engraved "screw heads" on the case back.
