Vintage Rolex models are very popular to replicate because of their value. There are several variations of genuine Milgauss which makes detection that much more difficult. Still, look for anachronisms when viewing a vintage watch. The replica Milgauss in this example has a holographic sticker on the back, which was not available with the genuine watch. Also look for laser engraving on the crystal, which is only seen on very recent Rolex watches.
